Share the Gift of the Temple

When it comes to gift giving, millennials are all about electronics. iPads, iPhones, and other devices grace the top of most lists. Our lists are full of all the things we need to in order to #sharegoodness, as well as watch the most recent cat videos while on the go. If others are at all similar to me, they are craving some things that lack plugs and cords.

A huge part of being a millennial Mormon is loving our LDS heritage. I know that my Christmas Wish List (which can be found here on Pinterest) is full of different pieces of art and books. One symbol of our faith that pervades the apartments and iPhone wallpapers of most of my peers is the temple. I know too many members that would be ecstatic to get a gift that relates to the temple. All of this leads up to the fantastic pre-Christmas gift I received that I am sharing with you today.

A while back a guy named Scott Jarvie started a kickstarter campaign that would eventually fund his trip around the country doing something I have ALWAYS wished I could do. He visited every temple in the country, and if that wasn’t an amazing enough experience, he photographed them all and compiled his photos into an awesome book.

This year long project, and now book, is available to purchase for all your family and friends. Below I have included some of my personal favorite temple pictures.

Not only is this book chock full of photos of the most holy places in this country, each temple comes with basic facts about its dedication, size, and finish, but also some interesting facts and stories.

This beautiful book is the perfect gift for parents and grandparents looking to display the beauty of the temples, or for millennials just wanting to have something that reminds them of their covenants and goals. No matter who this book is for, it is bound to be received with thanks. I mean, who WOULDN’T love a book about temples?!?

Check out the website, and finish your holiday shopping in one go.

*Blake was given this book at zero charge, which did not affect his opinion that this book is super awesome.
